Sam Smith
Founder/Owner
At a very young age Sam developed an interest in building. Whether it be a tree house in the yard or a fort under the stairs Sam has always wanted to create unique spaces. In his late teens, after graduating from Loyola Academy, Sam started SRS Managment and began building custom homes. Since then Sam has earned his BA in Organizational Management, obtained numerous licenses and turned a “one man show” into a company of 14 members adding remodeling and design to the menu of services provided by SRS. Known for his large personality and sense of humor as well as his keen eye for home design and trends, Sam created a company that is innovative, client focused and family friendly. Sam currently resides in Northfield, IL with his wife and two daughters. Sam’s design “fingerprints” can be found all over town and the surrounding area.

Cezary (Caesar) Wielogorski
Managing Partner/Project Manager
Born in Warsaw, Poland Caesar moved to Chicago in 1995 when he was 18 years old. Since the day he arrived he has worked in construction and specializes in wood floors, tiling and laminate. With over 20 years experience in the business, Caesar joined SRS Management in 2003 and became a managing partner in 2015. Caesar resides in Grayslake, IL with his wife and two boys.
Jarek (Jerry) Galaszkiewicz
Managing Partner/Lead Tradesman
In the year 2000 Jerry left Warsaw, Poland and headed to Chicago to further his career in construction. Jerry also joined the SRS team in 2003 and became a managing partner in 2015. With a background in almost every trade needed, Jerry overseas all employees and sub contractors to make sure quality is job #1. Jerry resides in Hainesville, IL with his wife and enjoys spending time with his recently welcomed granddaughter.
Courtney Penn
Office Manager
As a true Libra, Courtney has always had a passion for things that are neat and orderly. Since joining SRS Management in 2017, she ensures daily office operations run smoothly and efficiently. Previously, Courtney worked for 15 years as a senior project manager for a market research firm in Chicago. She attended New Trier High School and University of Oregon where she received her BS in Fine Arts and Art History. Born and raised on the North Shore, Courtney continues to live there with her two children.
